This ancient theater in Tunisia is located in Dougga, one of the best-preserved Roman towns in North Africa. The 75 ha (190-acre) archaeological site was built between AD 168 and 169. The theater seats 3,500 and today is home to the annual International Festival of Dougga, celebrating music and the performing arts.
