Gallery of Covers
Summary
The Gallery of Covers displays the evolution and diversity of our cover designs since 1981, and also presents select covers from the first two decades of the Factbook’s existence. Additional information on the The World Factbook in past decades may be found on the History page.
In 2017, the Government Printing Office discontinued printing hard copies of The World Factbook. From 2017 to 2023, the Factbook produced annual posters, which are also included here, in place of the covers.
