Today, Acting Director David Cohen released the following statement congratulating Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines on her confirmation by the Senate:
“On behalf of the Agency workforce, I would like to congratulate Avril Haines on her confirmation as Director of National Intelligence. The Agency’s deep and longstanding partnership with ODNI will only be strengthened under DNI Haines’ leadership, whose tenure as Deputy Director of the CIA is held in the highest regard. We are enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with DNI Haines once again and look forward to executing on our critical national security mission together with ODNI and our other partners in the Intelligence Community.”
