ABSTRACT: The changes in the antitoxin titer were studied in animals the metabolism,
of which has been increased by iodocasei-n feeding. Among horses unized with
diphtheria and tetanus t2g-A~d sheep immunized with staphylotoxin the antitoxin
level of the groups fed on iodocasein was.significantly higher than that of the
controls. No noticeable difference was observed in cattle immunized with tetanus

Abstract: Two thousand and sixteen of a total of 3896 individuals exa-
mined shoued some kind of dermatological finding, althou&, not all of
these required medical treatment. The most frequent complaints in-
cluded funGal diseases, pyodeima, seborenea, eczema; precarc. carel-
nona, allerGenic effects, and changes due to advanced age. The der-
matological conditioa of the Gipsy population showed a significant
improvement, attributed to the Government's proZram providing perms-
nent settlement facilities for the tribe. Only five instancea of
scabies vere encountered; there v&s no evidence of pediculosis. One
reference to a Hungarian publication.

blocking (Aquadag and copper) contacts are comp'ared with these properties in films
with ohmic contacts produced by vaporizing aluminum onto a' surface treated In a
glow discharge. Cadmium sulfide shows a slow increase in pho-tocurrent after.volt-
age application (under constant illumination). In films with Aqua~bg contacts. the
photocurrent in a strongly illuminated specimen increases for hours, sometimes

in a shorter period than the time constant of the measuring instrument. In speci-
mens with blocking contacts, a change in polarity of the applied.voltage caused a
drop in the photocurrent which was replaced by an increase after a.certain time,
usually measured in seconds. Rectification was usually observed with a "rectifica-
tion constant" of 10-12. These effects completely disappeared with the substitu-
tion of ohmic contacts. Films with ohmic aluminum contacts have linear current-
voltage characteristics (see fig. 1 of the Enclosure). It is shown that cadmium
'sulfide films obey Ohm's law at field strengths up to 100-150 v/cm. Ohmic contacts.-.,,
eliminate the ultralinearity in current
-illuminance characteristics which occurs
when blocking contacts are used. The aluminum ohmic contacts were found to be
quite stabi Ie under severe heat conditions. .These contacts were able to withstand
protracted heating (several hotirs) in air or in a vacuum to 200-2500C, and short
term heating to higher temperatures without losing their ohmic properties. Ori -
