SUBJECT: language Lessons
1. It is requested that approval be granted for John R.
25X1A9a - to take a concentrated course in - conversation at
the Berlitz School in Washington commencing upon the approval of
this,request, and that the cost for such trains approximately
25X1A9a $250.00, be paid from confidential funds, Mr. will take
as much private instruction as $250.00 will allow which will be
approximately fifty hours to be extended over a period of two
months.
2. In the performance of certain duties in his proposed
assignment, knowledge of the language is essential.
Such knowledge unquestionably will increase his qualifications
and usefulness to this Agency and the U. S. Government.
