Mr. Allen W. Dulles, Director

2+30 E Street, N.W.
Washington 25, D. C.
On behalf of the Purchasing Agents Association of New York, I would
like to extend a cordial invitation to you to speak at one of our
dinner meetings which are held at the Hotel New Yorker. These
evening meetings usually start around 6:30 and we would be most happy
to have you accept our invitation for either September 15, 1959 or
October 20, 1959.
The New York Association is made up of over 900 businessmen of the
purchasing profession. As Purchasing Agents we are concerned with
all phases of business which have become increasingly international
in scope. We are particularly interested in world trade and techno-
logical and industrial developments in the Iron-Curtain countries and
other areas of the world.
The Purchasing Agents Association of New York is one of the largest
groups of the National Association of Purchasing Agents which repre-
sents approximately 17,000 purchasing executives throughout the United
States. The Association was founded for the purpose of supplying a
means of education for its members through its programs and through
an interchange of ideas among the members.
We feel sure that your comments on any topic touching on the subjects
mentioned above would be of great educational value to our membership
and we sincerely hope that you will be able to accept our invitation.
Sincerely,
00,
Gallon ce
