The Secretary received two gifts from Kurdish leader Musta.?a
Parzani in 1974:. (1) an Ysfahan rug iz~. February 1974 as a token of
esteem, and (2} a Kurdish made necklace (with gold filigree and variau s
unidentifiable ornarxxents} sent as a weddixag present ixz April. 1974. Th~iz-
value is uncertain; they axe n,ot necessarily ~xroxth over $50. 00.
General Sccawcroft suggests that we nvcv make sure these gifts axe
properly registered.
