3. Several bombe fell it Nyza during World War II, but they did nOt
cause any appreciable damage. one 'wing of the
Lenin Plant building was still in ruins. The broken. window panes
of the Frunze Plant, which had been scantily taped, were first -
replaced in 1949. during the war the work 150X1-HUM
the.unheated plant was continued even at minus 40 degrees Centi-
grade-. AMY violation of the work discipline during this period
was punished with heavy "Sreiheits-Strafenw (freedom punishments).
At that time a part of the Frunze Plant was?Iransferred to Novo-
sibirsk. this part of the Frunze Plant re- 50X1-HUM
maimed in Novosibirsk even after the war as an independent plant
with very slight connection to the Brea Frunze Plant. '
