SUBJECT Commendation for Service on
Presidential Task Force
1. The Agency's intelligence support for the
President and his party while they were in
late April was outstanding. Support operations of this
sort can succeed only through fine performances by each
of the individuals concerned couplea with smooth tean -
work .
2. You, as a key member of the support Task
Force, played an important part in its success. I am
well aware of the pressures involved in this round-
the-clock duty and of the long hours you served while
the Task Force was in being.
3. I commend you for your fine contribution which
made this achievement possible.
