I. The bill prohibits any member of the Armed Forces or any
person employed by them to (or solicit another to):
(1) collect, distribute, or store any information pertaining
to the political, social or religious beliefs, actions or affiliations
of any person, or the membership, financing ideology, programs, or
objectives of any political, social or religious group within the U.S..;
(2) attend political meetings, marches, etc., for the
purpose of collecting any of the above-listed information;
(3) maintain files, data banks or other records pertaining
to any of the above-listed information;
(4) examine acedemic or disciplinary records of any student
or former student without written consent of the subject of the
records.
