In November, 1962, I began a collection of historic mementoes.
Included in my collection are autographs and photographs of distinguished
persons; the signatures of President Jimmy Carter (while he was Governor of
Georgia), Attorney General Griffin B. Bell and the Director of the Federal
Bureau of Investigation Clarence M. Kelley; and autographed photographs of
the former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Thomas H. Moorer, USN,
Chief of Naval Operations Admiral James L. Holloway III, USN, and former Chief
of Naval Operations Admiral Elmo Zumwalt, USN.
I have tried to make my collection a chronicle of twentieth
century history by representing, through autographs and photographs, those
who have made significant contributions to the social, cultural and political
history of our times. I would like very much to add your autograph to my
collection.
