12. I I HEARING Accompanied the Director,
Ton La ham, General Counsel, Acting Legislative Counsel, 25X1
an Assistant General Counsel, to a hearing of the
Subcommittee on Secrecy and Disclosure of the Senate Select Committee
on Intelligence on the use of classified information in court. (See
Memorandum for the Record.)
14. HEARING Called Sue Piland, reporter
for the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and told her I would like
to have, as soon as possible, the transcript of the exchange between the
Director and Senator Gary Hart (D., Colo.) at the hearing earlier today
before the Subcommittee on Secrecy and Disclosure. Ms. Piland said
she believed she would have this to me tomorrow.
15. LIAISON Met with Mike Epstein, Senate

Select Committee on Intelligence staff, who gave me additional requests
Specifically, Epstein asked to see any
contact reports between the Agency and a man named Epstein
indicated he had already seen one such contact report but new information,

regulations update instruction sheets on HR 22 and HR 7; personal notes of
Catherine Essoyan, of the Committee staff, on her meetings at Headquarters
on 27 February; and two amendments concerning records control.
