Information
and. several T-34 tanks were entrained.
The shipment seen on 1 November was standing on a siding. At about
noon, no trains were seen at the Templin station.
3. On 5 November, another train carrying approximately 20 trucks, 12
to 15 field howitzers and, on approximately 15 boxcars, approximately
30 officers and 400 soldiers was seen at the Tem lin station. The
vehicles had been loaded in the morninr. Trucks
at the Templin railroad station.
2. At about 0800 on Novembe SP aZftt=m No 452, JS-3 tanks
1. At about 0700 on 1 November 1954, a troop train carrying approximately
15 T-34/85 tanks, 20 trucks and 46 boxcarloads of soldiers was seen
and jeeps were seen.
The trucks, which carried billeting equipment, arrive from the
direction of Vogelsang.

of Grunewald. At about 1600, the same tank column was seen en route
from Grunwald toward Vogelsang.

from the direction of Ioeddel.iri west of Templin.
8. On 4 and 9 November, reports of artillery pieces and machine guns
were heard from the direction of Tangersdorf northwest of Templin.
At abo'.t 1100 on 10 ;November, a train with approximately 20 T-34/85
tanks, 12 x 122-mm field howitzers and approximately 15 boxcars
with s,.;idiers was seen at the Templ.in railroad station. The train,
w:iich aparently had not been loaded in Templin, was no longer
observed at the station at about 1400. At about 1630 on 11 ?lov.~mber,
a train which came from the direction of Lychen, proceeded toward
iberswalde or Prenzlau. The train included approximately 30
boxcars with personnel, 20 AT guns, presumably of 85-run, 30 trucks
and 1 field kitchen.

1. At about 0700 on 1 November 1954, a troop train carrying approximately
15 T-34/85 tanks, 20 trucks and 46 boxaarloads of soldiers was seen
at the Templin railroad station.
2. At about 0800 on 3 Noveffiber. SP gun JS-3 tanks
and several T-34 tanks entrained.

and 1 tractor left the barracks installation in Jueterbog-Damm
toward Altes Lager (3205). The vehicles returned from the
direction of Markendorf at 1530 on 20 October.
17. Trucks were daily seen entering and

in the Templin area between 1 and 15 November are believed to have
been connected with one another.

All other observations also tend to indicate that units of the 25th
Tank Div, presumably from Prenzlau.and Camp Vogelsang, were
concerned.
2. Comment. The barracks installation at Jueterbog-Damm (3203) is
believed to be occupied by the 47tht Gds Mech Regt of the 14th Gds
Meoh Div.
The observation of a tank unit and an SP gun unit with the47th Gds
Mech Regt again indicates that the tank battalions of the
mechanized regiments m have been equipped wit SP guns.
