Between 0930 and 1200 on 3 November 1954, 28 MiG-15s, 2 Yak-11s, and 25X1 1 damaged Po-2 were observed at Parndorf airfield. Prior to 1000, there was fog and visibility was limited to about 400 meters. After 1000, the sky was 10/10 overcast at an altitude of about 1,000 meters. There was light wind of about 3 km/h, haze, and a visibility range of about 1,000 meters. No air activity was conducted. The AA gun emplacement were occupied by 6 x 37-mm AA guns. 2. Sixteen motor vehicles were parked under the lean-to roofs of the garage Soldiers wearing black-bordered blue epaulets were engaged in connecting the lines which extended into the barracks with telephone connection to a newly erected mast. Van-like truck with a rod antenna was 25X1 parked in front of the barracks. Two sears g s mounted on tripods about 75 cm high were seen about 200 meters southwest of the radar station which consisted of a Fishnet-type radar set and a Kniferest-type set. The searohli?hts directed their beams to the east. Their diameter was smaller than that of the previously observed searchlights. 25X1 3. The former agricultural school in Bruck/Leitha,.wiich housed the air force komendatura, was guarded by sentries wearing black-bordered blue epaulets and frequented by soldiers wearing the same service color. Vehicular traffic included Comment. The occupation of Parndorf airfield has not changed.
