statement for the Joint hearings on Bi medical and Behavioral Human-use
experimentation to Larry Horowitz, Committee on Labor and Public
Welfare, Subcommittee on Health. That same evening, ' 1 declassified portions
of the Agency's responses to Senator Edward M. Kennedy's (D. , Mass. )
25 September letter. This involved the 28 October and 5 November
responses. The declassification was based on consultations with STAT
IDDS&T and Dr. Sayre Stevens, DDS&T. In genera], we deleted
all names of organizations as well as references to Dr. Gottleib,
Lashbrook, and the destruction of files.
