OFFICE OF.LEGISLATIV1 COUNSEL
'. 4 NOV 1975
q.- j LIAISON David Martin, Senate Judiciary
Subcommittee on Internal Security staff, called and asked if we had any
information on who was a member of Makilovich's forces and
had worked wit He said according to his information
was tied up with the S. Army after the war.in an intelligence capacity
(an assistant Chief of Staff, G-2) and has made a statement that he was
employed by the United States in a highly confidential capacity. After
his admission to the U. S. worked f Army Map Service.
Martin said the problem"in the case is tha s retiring but has been
unable to get ser.vice credited under Civil Service retirement for the
service provided during the war. He wondered if we could check our files
to see if there was anything we could do to verify service to the
U. S. I told him we would take a look at it. Martin asked if we could provide
him with information on the World Peace Council and its various congresses,
He said they would like a complete rundown of anything we have on this,
hopefully, in a form that could be used by the Subcommittee with only minor
editing. I told him I would look into this item.
