The series is being coordinated, published and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group, the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production Center 1Plc (DIA). The photographic analysis for this particular re- port was performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group. In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report. Titles and letter designators for the various facilities are as follows: (A) railroad service, (B) road service, (C) landing strips, (D) administrative and troop housing areas, (E) storage areas, (F) am- munition storage areas, (G) POL storage areas, (H) other buildings and facilities, (J) equipment storage/maintenance areas, (K) athletic fields, (L) small arms firing ranges, (M) driver training areas, (N) tank/ assault gun firing ranges, (P) flat trajectory firing ranges, (Q) artillery emplacements (batteries), (R) infantry or combined arms field train- ing area or courses, (S) special training facilities, (T) unidentified facilities or tracking activity. The area is served by a sput from the rail line and has all-weather road connec- tions to Pruzhany. The Pruzhany Army Bar- racks Slobodka (AL-1) is located 7 km r}orth of this area. The installation (Figures 2 and 3) covers 75 acres and contains 24 semiburied vertical POL tanks; seven semiburied probable POL tanks with rectangular covers, of which five appear to be interconnected by pipes; one ad- DESCRIPTION OF INSTALLATION Railroad Service A spur from the Brest -Ivantsevichi rail line serves this area. Road Service All-weather roads provide access to Pruzhany. General Storage Area Area E contains five storage buildings and one administration building. One of the storage buildings and the administration building have been added since - coverage, and one storage building under construction in - has been completed. POL Storage Areas Area G1 contains 24 vertical, semiburied tanks, 75 feet in diameter, 14 of which have 25X1 D 25X1 D 25X1 D ministration building; five storage buildings; six support buildings; and a large open area, possibly for storage of oil drums. This installation was covered by=TAL- ENT photography and three KEYHOLE missions between Com- parative analysis reveals extensive changes, as observed on - coverage, which in- clude the addition of 14 semiburied vertical POL tanks, seven semiburied probable POL tanks with rectangular covers, and one admin- istration building, and the removal of numerous horizontal POL tanks which were visible on =TALENT coverage. 25X1 D 25X1 D been added since Area G2 contains seven probable semi- buried POL tanks with rectangular covers, five of which appear to be interconnected by pipes. These tanks were first observed on - coverage. Four of the covers are 120 by 120 feet, one is 160 by 135 feet, one is 160 by 105 feet, and one Is 150 by 60 feet. Between G1 and G2 is an open area, pos- sibly for storage of oil drums. Numerous horizontal POL tanks visible on M TALENT coverage were not observed on subsequent coverage.
