INTRODUCTION
Guided Missile R & D and Production Center Reutovo
25X1 67 is located at 55-45-43N 37-52-36E,
in the suburb of Reutovo on the east edge of Moskva, USSR
(Figure 1). A rail line passes along the east side of the
installation but does not appear to enter it.
The installation (Figures 2 and 3) can be divided into 2
sections -- a production section containing a large final
assembly building, a probable subassembly/assembly build-
ing, horizontal and vertical storage tanks, and probable
machine shops and an engineering section containing sev-
eral multistory engineering buildings, a long cylindrical
structure which is either an engine test cell or a wind tunnel,
a high-bay possible assembly building, and machine shops.

A building-by-building construction history of the facil-
ity is presented graphically in Figure 3 and in tabular form in
Table 1, which also provides chronological details and inter-
pretations of the basic functions of all structures; all item
numbers are keyed to Figure 3 and Table 1.

1944
Photography of the area revealed only undeveloped
land. The installation has been constructed since 1944.
1962
The first usable post-construction coverage of the in-
25X1 stallation was obtained in and was of fair inter-
pretability. At this time the engineering section appeared
complete; only a high-bay possible assembly building (item
14) and 4 other small buildings have been subsequently
added. The production section was in a very early stage of
construction. Two buildings (items 11 and 12) appeared
complete, and only preliminary excavations were observed
for the major buildings.
1963-1964
In the engineering section the possible assembly building
(item 14) had been added. In the production section, 2
major buildings (items 1 and 7) and 2 smaller ones had
been completed, construction was continuing on the re-
maining structures, and 1 group of horizontal tanks had
been added along the west edge of the section.
1965-1966
In the production section a probable subassembly/
assembly building (item 10) with a high-bay section and 2
smaller buildings (items 3 and 8) had been completed, and
a second group of horizontal storage tanks and a group of
vertical tanks had been added on the west side of the section.
In the engineering section only 4 small buildings had been
added.
