International Remote Sensing Cooperation
REFERENCE: Memorandum from Christine Dodson, Staff
Secretary, NSC, dated 20 February 1980,
subject: International Remote Sensing
1. The reference memorandum indicated the establishment of
an interagency group under the auspices of the Policy Review
Committee (Space) to coordinate the US approach to issues of
international remote sensing cooperation in accordance with the
broad policy guidances in PD/NSC-54. The interagency group is
to be chaired by the State Department.
2. Per the DCI's approval of the D/DCI/CT's memorandum of
14 December 1979 (DCI/CT-79-0023), CT will represent the DCI
on this interagency group. Mr. Norman Terrell, the State
Department Chairman of the interagency en notified
