Statement by now deceased Salvadoran guerrilla leader Cayetano Carpio
in Managua on 9 April 1983 on the occasion of the funeral of Melida Anaya Montes.
Statement was made in Managua:
"The Central American people's struggle is one single struggle."
Carpio also vowed that.after the guerrilla triumphed in El Salvador,
"El Salvador and Nicaragua would be arm-in-arm and struggling for the
total liberation of Central America."
