1 is located 10.9 nm west-northwest of the
field site, and Launch Area No 2 is located
10.0 nm northwest of the field site. Launch
Areas No 1 and 2 are oriented on azimuths
of M degrees.
A rail-to-road transfer point for Launch
Areas No 1 and 2 is located at Slonim, approx-
imately 28 nm northeast of the launch complex.
This transfer point probably serves both the
Ruzhany and the Slonim complexes. An im-
proved road links the field site with Ruzhany
Launch Areas No 1 and 2.
The fixed field site (Figure 2) consists
of a looped road pattern with four parallel
launch clearings oriented on azimuths of approx-
imately- degrees. The northern clearings
are spaced approximately 865 feet apart and
the southern clearings are spaced at a distance
of approximately 600 feet. No equipment or
support facilities are evident at the field site.
