by 20 feet on the approach.
Operation/Support Area. The operations/
support area contains a '1'-shaped 195- by 75-
foot administration building with an 85- by 85-
foot wing, an I1-shaped 70- by 50-foot adminis-
tration building with two 120- by 50-foot wings,
two 290- by 90-foot multistory barracks, two
probable torpedo checkout/storage buildings 280
by 50 feet, 14 storage buildings 145 by 45 feet,
and two storage buildings 200 by 45 feet. Other
facilities include 40 support buildings of various
sizes, one building under construction and a.
water storage tank 75 feet in diameter.

Ura Bay Naval Base (BL No- is
located 2.5 nautical miles (nm) north of Ura-
Guba and 22.5 nm north-northwest of Murmansk
at 69-20N 32-49E (Figure 1). It includes eight
piers, an operations/support area and a barracks
area. A pier and minor facilities are located
2.8 nm north at the settlement of Ara on Ara Bay.
Piers. The landing facilities consist of eight
piers (Figure 2). Piers I and III are finger piers
320 by 10 feet* and 60 by 20 feet. Piers IV, VI,
VII and VIII arc finger piers 400 by 20 feet. Pier
II is a 'I -head pier 80 by 20 feet at the head and
100 by 20 feet on the approach. Pier V is an
