SUBJECT : Fast-Track SNIE 81-82: Implications of Mexico's
Current Financial Crisis
1. This is to inform you that we have been requested to produce a fast-
tr k SNE on the implications of Mexico's current financial crisis.
~~ A/NIO for Latin America will chair.
2. We anticipate having a terms of reference and concept paper ready for
LDXing on Wednesday morning, 18 August. It will also be distributed at the
monthly Warning Meeting for Latin America on Wednesday morning. A draft of
the SNIE itself should be ready for distribution to the Community on
30 August, for review by NFIB representatives on 1 September. NFIB
Representatives will be invited to attend a meeting to discuss the Concept
Paper and TOR on Friday, 20 August at 1000 hours in room 6E13 Headquarters.
