MEMORANDUM FOR THE DIRECTOR
Attached for your information is a list of U. S. Army technical
intelligence requirements which were either expressed or implied
during the Army Research and Development briefings presented by
General Betts and his staff on 22 November. Copies of these re-
quirements have been sent to the DD/S&T, DD/I, DD/P, and the
Chairman of the Board of National Estimates with my request that
these requirements be given priority consideration in the Agency's
intelligence production and collection work.
DD/S&T has advised that a memorandum on the Navy's techni-
cal intelligence requirements should be completed during the first
week of January. Requirements of the other services are also being
prepared.
