The Dallas County Republican Men's Club is the
principal forum for Republican political speakers in
the Dallas area. With a membership of approximately
1,000 politically active business and professional
people, and with excellent press coverage of our
meetings, we believe the club provides an excellent
opportunity for speaking appearances in Texas. The
Club's past speakers have included President Reagan,
Vice President Bush, Governors Clements of Texas and
Ray of Iowa, William F. Buckley, Jr., James Buckley
and Elloit Richardson, and Senators Tower, Lugar,
Hatch, Schmitt and Wallop.
Our Board of Directors is interested in having
you speak to our group in the near future and this
letter represents a formal invitation. We hope you
will accept. My office telephone number is (214)
233-2972. I would appreciate hearing from you soon.
If a trip to Dallas is not possible at this time, we
would appreciate your consideration some other time
in 1982.
Yours very truly,
Iv'^
