Dear Mr. Casey:
The ninth annual Conservative Political Action Conference will
be held at the Mayflower Hotel here in Washington, D.C. from February
25-28.
The highlight of the conference will be a banquet on Friday
evening, February 26, honoring President and Mrs. Reagan._
If you are familiar with CPAC, you know that each year it is
attended by conservative leaders from all across the country. In
,reviewing the Reagan Administration's spectacualr accomplishments
during their first year in office, we concluded that the occasion
merited a special celebration this year.
We expect approximately 1000 people to attend the Reagan Banquet
this year and it promises to be a very special evening during which
the Administration's achievements will be honored.
We hope that, as an important figure in the Reagan Administration,
you and Mrs. Casey will be our guests at dinner.
A small reception will be held in the Presidential Room of the
Mayflower at 7:00 P.M. and the dinner will begin at 8:00 P.M. in the
Grand Ballroom.
We hope that your schedule will allow you and your wife to
join us on the 26th of February. Our salute to the Reagan Administration
will be greatly enhanced by your participation.
