It is with great pleasure that I accept your invitation to
lecture on American sponsored resistance movements behind enemy
lines during World War II that is to be given as a part of a
course "America Fights World War II." As I understand it, the
course is under the auspices of the Smithsonian Resident Associate
Program. I will look forward to lecturing on one of my favorite
topics.
