I was delighted to read in today's paper about your des-
cription of the insurgents in El Salvador. Doubtless you have
read the Freedom House publication "El Salvador: Peaceful In-
tervention or Armed Struggle".
Despite your efforts and those of others in the govern-
ment to tell what is going on in Central America, the American
Media appears to have again fallen for an adroit and large
scale propaganda campaign.
I have some ideas as how we might win the propaganda bat-
tle -- and the war. I'm coming to Washington Thursday evening
for a conference on Friday -- until 2:00 p.m. I'll be staying
at National Hotel in Arlington (521-1900). If you would like
