(LISTED BELOW) SUPPLEMENT TO EPORT NO. THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION 1. Effective 1 January 1952 the import of industrial diamonds to East Germany ceased to be the responsibility of Deutscher?Innen- and Aussenhandel (DIA) and was transferred to the Deutsche Warenvertriebegesellachaft (DWV). The reason for this move was the fact that it was becoming increasingly difficult to buy industrial diamonds through legal channels. So, in order to channel all purchases through one buying agency, those firms dealing with DIA Feinmechanik-0ptik were also transferred to the DWV.. 2.
