The DCI requests that we review the evidence on
Castxce's Coma ni.t associat *rs or affiliations during
the period prior to 1958.
I believe a great deal of research has already
been done on this and perhaps it will be sufficient
simply to pull all the evidence together in a brief
memorandum for the DCI,
H. did mention that Mr. H=*ver once told him
that the 'Bureau had filed over a thousand reports to the
effect that Castro is a Communist, but that evidently
A* one had paid any attention to them.
