It was gratifying to receive an advance copy
of your Churchill lecture. Your argument that in
the nuclear age all countries--even the USSR--have
an interest in making-wars "unnecessary" is eloquently
put. It was this saire premise that informed the
President's such on Wednesday. If eloquence plays
an important part in overcoming the obstacles we
face--and I believe it does--then efforts such as
these will rrove us a long way down the road.
