Comment. Deliveries of raw materials to the Steel Four-dry East at
Fuerstenberg Oder.
3.I Comment. Probably deactivated 57-mm AT guns returned to the USSR, A
similar shipment- was observe on 29 May 1954.

4. Comment.' Ammunition shipments from the USSR. The shipment observed on 17
May was consigned to Soviet units at the Lieberose troop training grounds. The
shipment observed on 21 May will be forwarded from Frankfurt/Oder to some other
place in the GDR.
Comment. This shipment is possibly identical with a shipment of armored
personnel carriers observed on 18 May 1954.
8.I Comment. It 1is not believed that these trucks were manufactured at the 25X1
EMW (formerly BI1W) automobile plant at Eisenach since only motorcycles and sedans
are manufactured at this plant.
9. Comment. Deliveries by East German railroad car factories to the USSR. The 25X1
Soviet-gauge wheel sets carried along on flatcars will be used on the Soviet
railroad system.
Comment. Deliveries by East German hydrogenation plants to the USSR. . 25X1
~Comment. Since a Soviet ammunition depot is located at Altenhain, the
shipment may have consisted of empty brass returned to the USSR.. .
