FBIS RegulationQsets forth the revised concept for appoint- 25X1
ment of Agency personnel and their ultimate selection into the Career
Service. Because FBIS is essentially an overseas operation, it is
necessary that certain categories of personnel be required to serve
periodic tours overseas during their career. Their statement of-Intent
will confirm this understanding. Such personnel are:
Info Officers Administrative Officers
Electronic Specialists Radio Operators
Cruising Monitors Electronic Technicians

for IM Career Service upon the receipt of a signed statement of intent
from him and your affirmative recommendation. Please determine the
interest of if you wish to recommend him for Career Status 25X1
