STATE
THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1. Approximately 600 cadets are taking an 8 -month basic-course with standard
curriculum at the North Korean Air Academy four kilometers east of Yenchi
(129-319 42-55). The school has 60 Soviet instructors, and there are 20
to 24 trainers at the school airfield.
2. Approximately 300 cadets are at the North Korean Advanced Air Training
Canter 12 kilometers north ?f.Yenchi. This field has six advanced
trainers and ten YAK fighters, and there are 20 Soviet instructors.
3. After completion of their basic.and advanced training, the Yenchi students
are transferred to Antung fields for practical training.
