PREPARED
The construction of a narrow-ggauge fieldd, railroad line crossing
the so nzsen-udivigslust railroad line was planned. ~r?
iTolthusen.-3uchholz airfield were started in mid-October 1951 and that work
proper was begun on 2 January 1952, The ~-.orapletion date of the project was
faxed for 25 August 1952? The .1aren i3aunnion has the contract for the work.,
The site for the field is in a state o-med forest, An area of 100 x 2,800
meters is to be cleared, A as-meter stretch both north and south of the pro-
jected field was cleared of trees but the stumps have not been uprooted. Tha
top ::oil will be removed. Grading will be done by a Soviet unit -which has nat
yet arrived. Io Soviet construction supervisor had arrived.
