1, on 9 December 1951, no aircraft were observed at Schoenwalde airfield? There was
good visibility, The hangars were closed,, im estimated 1,500 men, including about
500 airmen, were quartered in the barracks buildings at the field. A wind sock was
observed on the flight control buildings 1.* orkcrs who were employed on the drainage
system said no flying has been conducted for s long tiL:,ae.,
2, Between 11:50 a.m. and 3:20 p,m,, on 29 IlecombE:r, the field was observed in clear
weather with a visibility of about l km,. Two grin--end ino aircra t with double

two ground attack planes, were parked on the Southern edge of the field. No air-
craft were observed in front of the hangaro J, one of which was open. There was no
