THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION STATE On 7 October 19 the now winter train schedule for Czechoslovakia went into effect. The CAD (Czechoslovak State Railways) explained on the first page of the winter schedule that because of increased freight traffic in the fall of 1951 many of the scheduled passenger trains will not be running. Red notices, listing the scheduled passenger trains vTuhich will not be running, have been posted at all railroad stations. Even passenger trains which do not aSpear on the red notices often do not run or are several hours late. At larger railroad stations train arrivals and departures are no longer announced because the.dispatcher frequently has to ask the debarking passengers where the train has come from and where it is going.
