(a) During the first quarter of 1951 the factories under control of the
General Directorate of Chemical Industries produced between 12,400
and 1,600 tons of paints and varnish, A quarterly amount ranging
between 570 and 600 tons was required by the General Directorate
for use in their factories. Further to the ahoy., there es. a
demand for 1,800 to 2?000 tons representing the total requiremont

and utensils factories.
(c) Due to large scale ports to the USSR, there was an agate shortage
of paints with sine oxide and red lead.
(d) The following more demands and amomte received of paper requisites
of the Ministry, for dipsrtmantal oonsutoptio~a and use in their
factories. The figures cover the period January-Maroc 11951: .
