1. As of 1 July 1975, ',%Sosler Class 6 Security Files well no longer
be available under Federal Sche "e. A low bid contract for fiscal year
1976 was awarded to Hillside. i-bsler anticipates an 11 to 14 percent in-
crease of price starting I July 1975, which suggests that any :noon re-
quirements for P?:osler Class 6 files be sub-aitted prior to the end of Fiscal
Year '75. A factor for consideration in this respect is that tra sp rta-
tion by the car load (47 files) is $14.00 per file as opposed to $41.00
per file when procured in smaller quantities.
2. As Fiscal Year 1976 is concerned, any request for Class 6 security
files must be directed to Hillside unless there can be provided an a prcDriate
sole source justification. Hillside security file cabinets have proved in-
satisfactory in the past on the basis of inspection accomplished with the
participation of General Services Administration--primarily a matter of
