SUBJECT: Individual Comments on Senate Armed Services
Committee Members during the Director's
Briefing of the Committee on 27 January
(U) Senator Sam Nunn (D., Ga.): Senator Nunn
arrived a little late for t e brie ing session. During
the break in the morning meeting, the Director offered,,
and Senator Nunn accepted an essentially private briefing
by the Director to bring Senator Nunn up-to-date on that
morning's briefing. Also based on Senator Nunn's sta.tee
ment that he would have to leave the afternoon session
early, the Director offered to come back to the briefing
half an hour early to personally brief Senator Nunn on
remaining subjects of interest. Again Senator Nunn
accepted. Both were private sessions with Senator Nunn.
