25X1 1. The large railroad yard of Malese- ice (s 53/N 77) s about lea IM from Brest Litovsl:
(S 53411 37), had a large workshop near an old airfield. In October 1950 the field
25X1 was no longer used by the Soviets. Most of the hangars at the field were demolished,
orient. The location indicates that the field is the former large air-
r field of Terespol, which was formerly used by the Ge'man Air Force. This is the
first postwar information on the field. The report, if correct, is significant
because it indicates that the large and formerly well equipy,ed field has not been
used since it was destroyed in '..brld ;jar 11. The location of the field near the
Polish Russian border .":'ay be the reason why it was not used after the war,
