while intensive traffic was observed in the western barracks
section at about 6 p.m.
C. Two truck convoys left the barracks toward the town
between 2 and 4 p.m. on 20 A ri1 1950, The first convoy yj

Ten of the trucks towed AT :funs oi about 50 m caliber, one
truck towed a field kitchen and 15 to 20 trucks were loaded
with billeting equipment. the convoy also included tans; trucks
and two radio trucks. Passenger car brought
up the rear. The second convoy consisted of about 30 trucks
loaded with billetinr equipr;aent.

black epaulets.

Comment: The report confirms previous infonnation
on the transfer to the T'ernplin area of eanponent
units of the 6th Gds .ecz Div and headquarters units
of the Fourth Gds Metz Army, from ,:berswalde and r'reieri
walde in mid-April 1950. The troops moved by road and rail.
Comient; The bchuetzen Kaserne units, primarily headquar-
ters units of the fourth Gds Y:ecz Ax-my, were still in Ebers-
walde by 21 April 1950.
I Comtagnt: The llq Fourth Gds Mecz Army is stationed in ttlo
