1. DCI is scheduled to brief the special
CIA subcommittee of the House Appropriations
Committee (MAHON) Wednesday morning 10 Aug.
2. DCI will probably want to see pro-
posed briefing text midafternoon Tuesday, so
draft contributions must reach Presentation
Staff by 10;30 a.m. Tuesday. Classification,

At present it appears that he wants it in
short, punchy, direct sentenhinces, k short
paragraphs, no outline format, or para num-
bers, etc. Subheads acceptable where they
are helpful. As long as we are experimenting,
submit your contributions in any legible form

3. Mahon Subcommittee was last briefed on
2 June, when agenda included"Cuba, Red China, South
