SUBJECT: DCI Request for Briefing Material
1. Mr. Helms is to brief ex-President Eisenhower on
Wednesday or Thursday, 13 or 14 July. He has requested the
following material to be delivered to by noon
Tuesday, 12 July:
One book containing text of briefings and
page-size graphics. (This differs from past
practice when two complete books were prepared).
An extra set of page-size graphics which can
be handed to the President as the briefing
proceeds.
Coverage of briefing to include updating last
briefing where appropriate, current "hot spots,"
and selected new developments such, for instance,
as Soviet missile advances, French nuclear tests,
etc.
Length to be about as in previous briefings of
President Eisenhower.

25X1A 2. could not be contacted on Saturday
noon when the request came in. The SDO has been instructed
25X1A to reach during the weekend to advise him of the
requirement an give him an early starting time should it
be necessary.
