ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION
WASHINGTON 25, 0. C.
UNITED STATES
April 11, 1958
Colonel Earl McFarland, Jr., USAF
Chairman, GMIC
Room 2A-270, Pentagon
Washington 25, D. C.
Since some confusion on the matter has occurred, I would
like to re-emphasize the procedures to be following during
duty and off-duty hours in contacting the AEC representa-
tives on GMIC.
During duty hours, contact Mr. Anderson or me. My office
telephone is HA 7-7831 (Government Code 119), extensions
3002 or 3355. The dial-through system is used on the
Government tie lines. Mr. Anderson's extension is 3357.
If neither of us is available, another member of the
Intelligence staff will handle the matter.
Durin off-duty hours, call me or Mr. Anderson,
at home. If neither can be reached, call the
switchboard operator and ask for the Intelligence Duty
Officer, who is always available by telephone. The follow-
ing individuals, all of whom have the necessary clearances
for attendance at GMIC meetings, serve as Intelligence Duty
Officers:
Dr. Charles H. Reichardt
Mr. George D. Monk
Mr. Melvin Abrahams
Mr. John A. Anderson
Mr. Milton E. Jenkins
Please be sure that one of these individuals is contacted
when GMIC meets after duty hours.
Sincerely yours,
Milton E. Jeins,
Deputy Director
Division of Intelligence
