briefed by and then to have conversa-

and wants.
Maury reported that, according to Frank Slatinshek, the Director
won the complete confidence of Congressman Pike (Pueblo Subcommittee
of the House Armed Services Committee).
Bross reported that Polly Wisner recently donated a substantial
sum to the Educational Aid Fund in memory of Mr. Frank Wisner.
The Director noted that press reports on the secret talks being
held in Vientiane are not helpful.
