At the Special Group (CI) meeting of 5 November,
General Taylor's plan for monitoring country internal
defense plans was approved. The plan calls for an
interdepartmental monitoring committee under State
to be established.
Actions- The name of the CIA nominee for the
monitoring committee is to be given to Mr. Alexis
Johnson.
