A previously identified storage facility is located at 39-12N 121-
44E, 7 nautical miles (nm) north of Chin-hsien and 1.5 nm northwest of
the village of Erh-shih-li-pu, China (Figure 1). The site is road-served
with rail service available at a siding 1 nm to the southeast.
Storage Facilities
Facilities in the storage area include 10 gable-roofed storage build-
ings (Buildings 1-10, Figure 3), 2 storage/support buildings (Buildings
11 and 12) and 5 small support buildings. The 10 storage buildings are
lightly revetted on 3 sides, thereby providing moderate blast protection.
Special ventilation devices are not visible off any of these buildings.

indicated a smoke discharge from a heating or cooking facility within the

Security
The storage area is secured by a single fence. In addition, Building
12 and the small support buildings previously mentioned are separately
secured (Figure 3). Guard posts are located along the higher northern
and eastern sections of the perimeter (Figures 2 and 3). Patrol paths
follow the fenceline and connect these guard posts. A guardhouse/check-
point is located at the entrance to the storage area.
Housing and Administration
The housing and administration area is located just outside the stor-
age area entrance (Figure 3). Included among the facilities in this area
are 1 large building which probably provides both administration and
housing, an athletic field, animal pens and several other support build-
ings.
