Dissemination, dated 14+ September 1951, subject:
Additional Positions for the Intellofax Organization
1. The table of organization for the Office of Collection
and Dissemination dated 24 July 1951, was approved and issued
for
2. The above revision was based on the
used in the 1952 supplemental budget presentation, plus 5 ;positions
transferred from the Office of Current Intelligence for the Special
Register Activity, for a total
3. Discussions held during July 1951 by this office with
members of the Offices of Collection and Dissemination, Scientific
.Intelligence and Research and Reports resulted in withholding
seven Clerk(Typing)GS-4 positions from the requested table of
organization pending further determination of requirement for this
function.
4+. Examination of this problem has disclosed that the operational
necessity at this time is justified and the reinstatment of these
seven positions is recommended.
