Subject Interagency Group on International Economic
Policy (IG-IEP): U.S.-Indian Economic Relations
A meeting of the IG-IEP will be held on Wednesday, September 1
at 10:00 a.m. in Room 41.25, at the Department of the Treasury.
The IG, at the request of President Reagan, will discuss initi-
atives for U.S. Government consideration that would support India's
development and economic goals. The President's memo is attached.
Also attached are an economic overview and several issue papers that
will serve as the basis for discussion at the meeting.
Attendance will be principals plus one. Please telephone the
